Lawrence is has 27 years experience of teaching Design Technology, and a very stable career history. Teaching KS3, KS4, and KS5 for 18 years, and sixth form for the past 9 years.

Laura has just completed her PGCE in Music at KS3 and KS4. Through her PGCE placements Laura was involved with a number of extra curricular activities such as running Flute Choir, producing music shows, and conducting swing band and the orchestra.

Paul completed his PGCE in 2007, and has been teaching Biology as his specialism along with Chemistry to KS4, and Science to KS3.
He has worked abroad in Bangkok and Beijing since 2007, the last 2 years he has been at Harrow International School which follows and English Curriculum.
He has now moved back to the UK on a permanent basis and is looking for a long term position.

Graham has 18 years teaching experience. He teaches all sciences, with his Specialism being Chemistry. As well as working in the UK he has worked abroad in Australia, Thailand and the Middle East. Travel has given Graham the opportunity to teach at a diverse range of schools and experience of teaching both gifted and low ability pupils
MFL Teacher
Helen completed her PGCE in 2008. She has since worked at a diverse range of schools. She has experience of teaching both gifted and low ability pupils. Her lessons are interactive and tailored to engage the pupils. Through this style of teaching she has helped her pupils to achieve higher in their examinations.
Teacher of Physical Education
Amanda has just completed her PGCE in Physical Education. She has experience of working within challenging school environments, with pupils from a variety of cultural backgrounds, including ethnic minorities and those with disabilities. Amanda has strong class management skills, and engages pupils of all abilities to perform to the best of their ability.
Biology Teacher
Andrea passed her PGCE in 2008. She has taken some time out to raise her young family and is now looking to start her teaching career. A Biology specialist, but has actively taught all sciences to GCSE. Andrea is a teacher with the natural ability to engage all of the students in her class. She is a real believer in 'hands on learning' in Science, and encouraging participation from her class.
History Teacher
Joanne has just completed her PGCE in History. She has decided on a career in teaching after home schooling her daughter for the past 2 years.
After completing her placements she is now keen to secure something long term. She would be especially strong in a challenging environment where she could make a difference.
ICT Teacher
Daniel completed his PGCE in 2008, and has been teaching ICT at KS3 and KS4.
Due to relocation to the North West of England he took his most recent contract which lasted 4 months ending in July 2010.
He has broad experience of teaching students from all cultures, backgrounds, and abilities, including more challenging schools.
Daniel's specialist area is ICT, however he is extremely adaptable, and during his contract and temporary roles he has covered many different areas from Mathematics to Dance.
Cover Supervisor
Qualified teacher of RE and humanities who has worked as a cover supervisor for the past 12 months. Naheed has experience of dealing with challenging behaviour and recieves good feedback for her enthusiasm.
D & T - Resistant Materials, Electronics and Product Design
Nabila completed her PGCE in 2007, and has been teaching Electronics, Design Technology, and OCR Product Design at KS3/4.
Due to relocation she took her most recent role which she has just completed, a one year maternity cover. She has broad experience of teaching students from all cultures, backgrounds, and abilities.
Notably she received an 'outstanding' in a recent observation from OFSTED, and had drawn up plans to support the low achieving students. For this she was personally recognized by The Key Stage 4 leader who praised her success in a formal report to the head teacher and the governing body,
'She has helped pupils target their GCSE coursework project. She has acted as mentor and run coursework sessions after school to help students achieve their potential. This has had significant effect on the standard of coursework achieved by students' this year.'

Gareth has just completed his PGCE in ICT. He has 4 years experience of working in the industry as a Sales Trainer and Consultant. Through this he decided on a career in teaching.

Charlotte completed her QTS in 2008, and has been teaching English and Drama at KS3 and KS4.
She has broad experience of teaching students from all cultures, backgrounds, and abilities including SEN in a challenging mainstream environment.
Charlotte took on additional responsibilities in her last role including liaising with the Examination Boards, assessing GCSE Portfolios. In addition she ran the Drama Club, and the school Drama Productions.
Teaching Assistant/Cover Supervisor/Unqualified Teacher
Karolina is an overseas trained teacher of English as a Foreign Language. She has been working for 5 years in the UK as a Teaching Assistant and Teacher of Polish to A Level as well as Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Karolina also had other numerous responsiblilties which including liasing with all the parents of children from overseas.

Secondary History Teacher - A Level
Kieran is an NQT who has just finished at Edgehill University. His references from both his placements are excellent and he has been rated by offsted as outstanding.
Kieran completed his BA hons in History and then went straight on to successfully complete his MA before beginning his PGCE.
His observation records show that he has made good progress in his placements and his transition for a more challenging school to school rated as outstanding by offsted. Other observations on his records are that his timing is good, he praises often and he is able to think on his feet and change aspects of planned activities as and when necessary. He has decided to take on a supply role so that he can set up his own business doing Creativity Workshops in Primary and Secondary Schools.

Greg qualified as a Teacher of Design and Technology in 2001 and has taught for the last 9 years at St Bede's Boys School in Bradford. He is adept at teaching all DT subjects, with the exception of Textiles. From his initial appointment in September 2001, Greg feels he has made valuable contributions to Design and Technology at both Key Stage 3 and in particular Key Stage 4 in issues of planning, delivery and assessment as well as developing projects for both Resistant Materials and Graphics. He has acted as graphics co-ordinator for the school and successfully delivered the AQA Graphic Products and Resistant Materials courses to years 10 and 11, OCR Product Design to year12, as well as teaching Resistant Materials to KS3. Greg takes an active part in many extra curriculum activities. Amongst the most recent activities are the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, the designing and constructing of the stage and playing in the band for the school production. Greg has been on pilgrimage to Lourdes with Year 10 as well as taking Year 10 students who are interested in a career in the services to weeklong courses run by the army. For the last seven years he has assisted student teachers with the ICT skills exams.

Edward has been in the reaching profession since 1992, during this time he has done a small amount of supply work, but his main teaching career has been spent within two schools. His references state that during his tenure with them he has proven to be honest and reliable. He has a firm grasp of his subject and is also very capable of doing General Cover. Alfred has had a wealth of experience in both academic and technical positions. He has worked outside of education as a production manager in a brewery for example, and then back into further education as a student researching in fermentation and bio-technology. Esther is an honours graduate with a keen interest in the arts, and cross curricula links, she has a commitment to making literature accessible through drama, film and art, and has enthusiasm and strong commitment to extra curricula activities. Esther has experience of teaching pupils with a range of special educational needs.
Teaching was a natural career choice for Esther as she would like to be in a position where she can offer encouragement and educational guidance and be able to nurture and assist students in identifying and developing their skills.
Science Teacher - Specialism Biology
Jenny is an NQT who has 2 years teaching experience and has completed 2 terms of her induction. Her specialism is Biology, however she is confident in teaching all 3 sciences up to GCSE. She has completed 1 term at Fairfield High School in Widnes and 1 term at Rhosnesni High School in Wrexham. Her reference from Fairfield was all marked as Very Good and her feedback from her current placement at Rhosnesni has been excellent. Rhosnesni is a particularly challenging school in Wrexham however, Jenny isn't phased by this. Rhosnesni have said if they had a permanent job they would have loved to offer it as she has fitted in so well.
